SENSORY GARDEN
Here we are installing a sensory garden to cater for our senses of smell and hearing as well as for our sight! Children will love the sand pit. All the family can come!
NATURE TRAIL
A neglected alleyway becomes a charming and intriguing walk (when it is finished it will be!)
VINEYARD
Phoenix Community Housing are responsible for the land so they have provided us with Phoenix wine grapevines! After a difficult couple of years to get the vines thriving we are looking forward to a harvest in October! Hopefully we will have a few bottles of wine for our Annual General Meeting next year. (Phoenix Board should have a lot more than that!)
FOOD BANK
In these difficult times some people are really finding it difficult to get by. By supplying fresh vegetables (and even some fruit) we are giving people a chance to keep eating healthily.
OUTREACH
We need to be known and ensure that new members keep coming! We also need to show that our backers that we are putting their money to good use. One way of doing that is showing ourselves at community events. Having our stall at the Bellingham and Phoenix Festivals is one way of doing that.
